MIcrosoft founder Bill Gates finally graduates

Tuesday, June 12th, 2007
Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates finally has his Harvard degree, 30 years after he dropped out of the prestigious university to enter the software business and become the world’s richest man.

Gates was originally slated to graduate in 1977, but didn’t, until this Friday, when Harvard University Provost Steven Hyman bestowed an honorary law degree on him.

Gates, who runs a $60 billion philanthropic endowment now, urged his fellow graduates to use their education to fight poverty around the world. He dropped out of Harvard and co-founded Microsoft Corp. to become the world’s richest person.

“We recognize the most illustrious member of the Harvard College class of 1977 never to have graduated from Harvard,” Harvard University Provost Steven Hyman was quoted by news agency Reuters as saying.

Meanwhile, Gates thanked his alma mater for honouring his success.

“I’ve been waiting for more than 30 years to say this, ‘Dad, I always told you I’d come back and get my degree’,” Gates, told the crowd.

“I’ll be changing my job next year, and it will be nice to finally have a college degree on my resume,” he added.

The MS man was referring to his plan to shift full-time into philanthropy.

Last year, Gates said he would step down from his day-to-day management role at Microsoft in 2008 to focus on philanthropic work.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, founded in 2000, supports projects to improve health, reduce poverty and increase public access to technology.

Gates’ commitment to charity caught the attention of famed investor Warren Buffett, the world’s second richest man.

Monday, June 11th, 2007
It is about my first experience of job after being graduate from MBA college.I joined the comapny as a Business Executive and My immediate reporting was to Executive V.P. of the company Mr. Shankar Narayan,he was 52 yrs old with attractive personality.I was very tensed,How would i be able to work under such a person who was so experienced and Knowledgeable? I was the freshers with no experience.
Very first day,I do remember the day it was Friday 11 A.M. I entered his office. He was sitting behind the big table, with laptop. He saw me and asked ,”if I was not wrong, you were raj mangalam”.He was having the great and impressive voice. That time i was numbed,i forgot what to reply his question,There were only thing which was coming in my mind that “He was a tough guy to work with”.But after talking to him for while,I got the answer of most complicated question which had been running through all my MBA,” Was it wise decision to recruit a person with experience or Qualification for Higher management position”.The very first thing he told me was that ” Raj, treat your professional life as your wife, you might not be honest about her,but she prays for your betterment and will be with you for life,Better you do for her,Best you will get through out your life.”. He was very disciplined man and i never seen him coming late to office. He always tells me,”Come on time,Leave on time”.I too dn’t have habbit to come late under any circumstances.

I learnt many thing from him. When I look at past,I find myself very lucky that I got my FIRST BOSS like him in very early days of my career.I wanted to see myself a professional like him in future.

Laloo Great Quote :

Friday, May 4th, 2007

Some of the Great English Statements Given By Our Proud Railway Minister Mr. Laloo Prasad Yadav

There was a mischevious officer in the railway Minister office whom he had to say GET OUT… Instead he said “Follow me” and walked out of the office and then said “Now Dont Follow me” and came back in to the office…

Laloo: Hello u there stand up….
Officer: Me Sir???
Laloo: “Not me Next to me.”

“Open the doors of the window and let the atmosphere come in”

“Open the doors of the window and let the air force come in”

After seeing the Prime Minister crossing his Office room,Laloo said to the noisy office, “Don’t make noise… PM just passed away”

On a similar vein, “Don’t make noise, the PM is revolving around the Parliament”.

What a smart-officer in my office said when Laloo asked him, “Why the late??” “Sir, Bus the late”

Somebody asked for some additional remarks and he said “Once I have put, it is put. No more extra put”

Laloo once said “Boy-boy talk, no problem. Girl-girl talk, no problem. Boy-girl talk, problem problem”

The Best One :

“I have Eight daughters. All are girls”.

“I will study my sons and marry my daughters”

“My Car is under standing the tree.”

Feeling of Lost Love:

Monday, April 23rd, 2007

Love is the Beautiful Creation of God and Incredible moment of everybody life.It is a canvas furnished by Nature and embroidered by imagination.Life didn’t seem good if someone lost love from life. This is dedicated to everybody who has lost his/her love. This poem is about the feeling I had had in my life :

I can never tell her
the feelings that i have
I know i must keep quiet
but i know i never can

I will never let her see
how my heart leaps when she is here
how it tears apart to see her
alone without me near

I willn’t ever have her hear me
my crying late at night
I know i will never be a part
of her thoughts or dreams of life

I shall not be a burden
I’ll put my heart on hold
I will mask my urges
as if to be so bold

I could never have her believes
that i long to touch her face
that i want to hear her dreams
that i need her in my place

I can never tell her
all that i think of her
I will never have a chance
to see if she love me too
